Mark is a shareholder with the law firm and has been engaged in private practice, with an emphasis in civil litigation, since 1975.  He litigates and handles appeals in state and federal courts, representing plaintiffs and defendants, in business, corporate and insurance litigation including contract, business ownership disputes, fiduciary/probate litigation, defalcation litigation, architect and engineering malpractice, construction and environmental issues.

Mark's personal injury practice focuses on product liability (involving engineering and architectural issues, drug product and consumer product liability, fire cases, general aviation accidents, machinery-related accidents), toxic tort and occupational disease, and auto accidents.  He also serves as a mediator, arbitrator, neutral case evaluator and court-appointed referee.

Mark and the firm are "A-V/Pre-eminent" (5.0 out of 5) rated in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory Peer Rating system and he has been certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy since 1994.  Honors include selection as a Wisconsin "Super Lawyer" in business litigation since 2009 and since 2013 he has been named each year to "Best Lawyers in America."  Mark was a "short list" finalist for appointment to Branch 35, Milwaukee County Circuit Court in 2009.
