Thomas A. Strandberg
Thomas A. Strandberg is both an attorney and a certified public accountant who represents clients in the area of personal and business taxation, as well as estate planning, business succession planning and probate. Prior to joining McNally, Peterson, Tom was an experienced tax manager in the Milwaukee office of one of the "Big 6" national accounting firms, Arthur Andersen & Company.Tom dual majored in accounting as well as finance, investment and banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, graduating in 1982. In 1985, he graduated from Marquette University Law School and in 1988 completed the examination process and practice requirements to earn the certified public accounting license.
In addition to state and federal court bar admissions in Wisconsin, Tom practices before the U.S. Tax Court and the Wisconsin State Department of Revenue. He is a member of the Waukesha County Bar Association, a member of the Board of Directors for the Waukesha Estate Planning Council and is a prior member of the Milwaukee Estate Counselors Forum.
Tom served as Vocational Director of the Mayfair Rotary of Wauwatosa. He also served as Finance Committee Chairperson for the American Cancer Society and was a member of the Mayfair Kiwanis Club. He has also made numerous presentations concerning tax law issues and estate planning matters in seminars sponsored by the Milwaukee Bar Association and other groups.
